UIUX Projects:

 Feb 2025 – Mar 2026

Malleable Note-Interface

Independent Project

  • Conducted qualitative user surveys to identify pain points in how students manage mismatched information sources across formats

  • Researched learning optimization frameworks including enactive design, information visualization, and distributed cognition theory

  • User-tested wireframes and note-taking mockups through iterative design cycles, refining features based on feedback

  • Designed a clickable prototype via Figma, Sketch, and Co-pilot coding

 Jan 2026 – Apr 2026

LLM Graphic Interface

Current Project

  • Case-studies the paints points in traditional, linear conversation with LLMs, and the single-use conversations

  • Took part as the lead designer in the iteration of Figma interfaces and assisted the finalization of the prototyping flow

  • Users reported strong reliance on the graphic web interface that orients and effectively builds-on the archive of previous conversations

Research Experience

 Sep 2024 – Mar 2025

Research Assistant
Language Production Lab

UCSD Department of Psychology

  • Conducted in-person behavioral studies with over 100 Chinese-English bilingual participants

  • Data collection over eye tracking and speech auditory to measure cognate interference effects

  • Coded and cleaned data in Excel to generate reports on average fixation duration, dwell time, and regression patterns; findings have a substantiate effect size in congruence with the hypothesis

  • Presented the findings with Pivot Table in the lab meeting

Exhibition & Creative Works

March 2026

UCSD, San Diego

  • Exhibited Echo Machine, a generative installation exploring Kafkaesque themes of transformation, ambiguity, and loss of agency

  • Built an AI-driven animation pipeline using Llama3.2 to produce iterative image morphing and organic visual distortion

  • Contributed to exhibition setup and visual materials, including spatial arrangement and poster design

May 2023

Hong Kong

  • Created installations, animations, and multimedia collage works exploring shared emotional experiences of COVID-era isolation among peers and faculty

  • Designed exhibition layout including wall installations, pedestals, and darkroom environments
